🎬 Motosacoche was founded in 1899, by Henri and Armand Dufaux, in Geneva, Switzerland. Motosacoche was once the biggest Swiss motorcycle manufacturer, known also for its MAG (Motosacoche Acacias Genève) proprietary-engines used by other European motorcycle manufacturers. Motosacoche took its name from the original self-contained cycle-motor power unit, literally ‘une moto sa coche’ or ‘engine in a bag’.

📉 During the 1930s Motosacoche were eclipsed by the Norton Motorcycle Company and went into decline. After World War II, an unusual Marchant designed 200 cc sv was shown in 1947, but not produced. In 1953 Richard Kuchen designed German UT motorcycles were marketed under the Motosacoche name, but this was unsuccessful, and by 1956 motorcycles were no longer produced, but MAG stationary and industrial motors continued
🔁 In 2019 Motosacoche brand was reignited by Paul Merz a Swiss Entrepreneur, passionate about motorcycling and local history. Starting with crowdfunding the production of an amazing tribute book about the Motosacoche saga, then in September 2021, Motosacoche presented its first prototype, the electric Type-A. The electric bike capable of reaching 45 km/h is equipped with a MAG (Motosacoche Acacias Genève) motor developed and manufactured in Switzerland. later getting together with a team of Engineers and Passionate individuals to Re-launch the brand with an electric bike.

Since then Motosacoche has been producing and selling very exclusive and customised electric bikes worldwide.
